Whether the Golden Tigers quarterback, Kevin Lacey, is motivating his teammates on the sidelines or gearing up to throw a game winning touchdown pass, he personifies the essence of a true leader. For 3 years now, Lacey has been an integral member of the Golden Tigers football team.
Lacey shared that he believes his energy and attitude have the biggest impact on his teammates. He stated, “I try to be upbeat and energetic all day. Good vibes keep the mood up at practice. In regards to the upcoming season, Lacey expressed that he, along with teammates, are more “excited than nervous.” They are anticipating the rematch with Albany State’s Golden Rams to be their biggest competition, but are all remaining confident.
When asked to provide a few words to energize and electrify the student body and community about the swiftly approaching season, Lacey leaves with, “Expect us to put on a good show!”
The show officially starts Saturday, September 5th, at 1:00 p.m. when the Clark Atlanta Panthers travel to Tuskegee to face our Golden Tigers. Good luck team! We know you all will make us proud.
